Couldn’t resist another delicious brekky at
the Plaza Café! It wasn’t busy and
Jordon served us once again. Each server
makes their own barista coffee and Jordon’s double espressos were readily liked
and consumed by David. His cappuccinos
weren’t bad either! We sat at a table
near the front window and were watching the goings on outside. They were setting up for the fiesta tomorrow –
lots of stall holders and shop keepers moving stock to their stall on the
street.
Today we had a list of places to go
and people to see – not necessarily touristy.
David was able to find a really good Hispanic barber in the shopping
mall and had his hair cut handsomely. We
found some beads to buy in a jeweller’s supply shop. Our hotel didn’t have a Laundromat so we had
to find one and spend an hour getting that done.
In the evening, we treated outselves to
dinner at a restaurant named ‘Los Patrillos’ (The colts) because I think the
owner had a family history of breeding horses – anyway, their food was
authentic Mexican and very, very delicious!
